About Us

Pentland Honey: from hill, to hive, to home

Based on the edge of the Pentland Hills, just south of Edinburgh, our bees produce a pure and delicious premium award-winning honey. The flavours, colour and texture are entirely dependent on the plants and trees foraged by the bees, from spring through to late summer. They forage on near-by
wild-flowers, local gardens, tree blossom and sometimes agricultural crops (such as oil seed rape), as well as ling heather in late summer.

Once extracted from the combs, the ‘raw’ honey is just filtered then packaged, keeping processing to a minimum, to ensure the full flavour and texture is as the bees left it.
